1. Information We Collect
- Email address and password (for authentication)
- Username and optional profile picture
- Cat profile data (names, photos, breeds, ages)
- Location data (only when you create a map pin, using your device geolocation)
- Advertisement content and metrics
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain the service
- To display your pins, cats, and ads on the community map and feed
- To track ad performance (impressions and clicks)
- To communicate important account or service updates
3. Data Storage & Security
All data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure. Images are compressed to 400x400px on your device before upload. Authentication tokens are managed securely by the platform.
4. Location Data
Location data is only collected when you actively create a map pin. We use your browser's geolocation API at that moment — we do not track your location in the background or when the app is closed.
5. Third-Party Services
The app uses OpenStreetMap tiles for map rendering. No third-party analytics or advertising SDKs are embedded.
6. Your Rights
- Access: You can view your data in the Profile screen.
- Deletion: You can permanently delete your account and all linked data via the "Delete Account" button.
- Opt-out: You can browse the Map and Feed as a guest without creating an account.
7. Data Retention
Your data is retained as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, all custom table rows linked to your profile are permanently deleted.
8. Children's Privacy
The service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
